Morrelgonj is an upazila of Bagerhat district in the division of Khulna, Bangladesh. It has 61210 units of house hold and total area 460.91 km². As of the 1991 Bangladesh census, Morelgonj has a population of 321153.Morrelganj Upazila is bounded by bagerhat sadar and kachua upazilas on the north, sarankhola and mathbaria upazilas on the south, pirojpur sadar and bhandaria upazilas on the east, rampal and mongla upazila.
